I have played countless of rounds of blackjack. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have wagered on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get rich with this tactic or beat the house, however you will have an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack appears to be a match of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the action back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can relinquish much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be astonished at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original ten dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave $20 paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the initial forty dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the first $80 wager
Bet 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you left at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is iffy to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
