I have gambled on millions of hands of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of funds at 21. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to beat the game.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is based on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the action back down to the original sum.
I am very disciplined and never "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the MGM a number of years back with $750 after 20 mins using this method! And a couple of weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a $5 table.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $5 wager
Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first $10 wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial twenty dollar wager
Wager twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager
Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Wager $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar bet
Bet $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it will happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
