I have gambled on millions of hands of vingt-et-un. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of cash at blackjack. The casinos have made it very hard to defeat the house.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have bet on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the house, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original bet.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling at times. If you succeed at a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a few years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this method! And a few days ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You need to comprehend that you can give away much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original $5 wager
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar bet
Wager $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the first $20 bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the first $40 bet
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager $80
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your bet or the final result will not be the same.
