I have wagered on millions of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have bet on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of bankroll at blackjack. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the house.
I still like the game and wager on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a type of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or beat the casino, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely fun sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Wynn a few years ago with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a few days ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can squander much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first $5 wager
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $20
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original 40 dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Bet 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 3 hundred and 15 dollars !!
It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
