I have gambled on countless of rounds of blackjack. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent a lot of money at 21. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this tactic or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is based on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy blackjack. When I lose I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I lower the bet back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable sometimes. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this method! And a number of months ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of $10
Bet 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar bet
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager 40 dollar
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar bet
Wager $40
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $80 bet
Bet $80
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 160 dollar bet
If you left at this moment you would be up $315 !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it will happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
