I have enjoyed countless of hands of blackjack. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was still underage. I have wagered on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of money at chemin de fer. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or defeat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is centered on the fact that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I lose I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets very enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years back with $750 after 20 minutes using this method! And a number of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a five dollar table.
Bet $5
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Bet twenty dollar
Leave $20 paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager
Bet 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your bet or the final result will not be the same.
